Fire pumps, which undertake the critical task of transporting water under pressure for firefighting purposes, play a pivotal role in fire suppression systems. Available in a range of pressure and flow rates, from 3 bars to 30 bars and 50 GPM to 5000 GPM, these pumps are offered in both diesel and electric variants. The primary types of pumps include;

1Technical Details
Fire pumps are commonly certified by an approval institute and are driven by either an electric motor, a diesel engine, or occasionally a steam turbine. In a fire system, one or more fire pumps may be activated, serving as duty assist (50%) or standby pumps.
